And Sykes is to fight Manchester’s Jon Kays for the British super-featherweight title in his hometown of Dewsbury on May 24.

The pair, who will have tickets for their forthcoming fights available, will present the trophies.

Top of the 15-bout bill is an Yorkshire middleweight title clash between former holder Nick Hilton, of Gladiators, and Vinny Atkins, of Halifax.

Meanwhile Huddersfield boxing fan Wayne Carmichael has provided two belts, one at senior level, the other junior.

The action starts at 7.00 and fans can pay on the door.

Sponsorship opportunities are still available.
