GOLCAR Liberal A drew 5-5 with Woodfield Park B in Division II of the Huddersfield Table Tennis League.
Mike Belk was undefeated for Woodfield Park. Derek Moorhouse, after his impressive hat trick the previous week, went down surprisingly easily to Roger Wood and Steve Tattersley, both in three straight games.
The final pairing brought together the improving Janet West and David Singleton, who had earlier taken Belk to a deciding game before losing 11-4 in the fifth.
His match with West was equally close. He took the first 11-4, lost 12-10 in the second, won the next 11-9, lost the fourth 11-8 but clinched a close fifth game by 11-9 to secure the draw.
