JAKE SMITH of Outlane won the Wednesday Golf Society meeting at Dewsbury District.
He topped Division I and a field of 33 with 34 points off his handicap of 13.
Host club captain Rod Burgin, off 12, was second with 33 points thanks to a better back nine than David Braithwaite (Marsden, 12), who also had 33.
In Division II, Edric Murray (Dewsbury, 16) was winner with 39 points, one ahead of Society captain John Sheard (Bradley Park, 18) on 38.
The next meeting is at Elland on August 3.
