Family and friends of Michael Colcombe are struggling to come to terms with his sudden death at home in Waterloo on Thursday, October 17.
Michael, 52, was a long-standing member of Dewsbury District Golf Club and a former winner of the JR Crawshaw Memorial Trophy, the Union Scratch Matchplay Championship.
Last month he proudly watched eldest son Matthew, 23, follow in his footsteps and win the title at West End. He leaves three sons, Matthew, Adam, 20, and Alex, 16.
Friends are welcome to attend the funeral service at 11am on Wednesday at Huddersfield Crematorium, Fixby.
