OUTLANE player Gillian Goodlass has bounced back from injury to take the club’s century-old Taylor Cups.

Gillian and her partner Trevor Pickles had a half-point win over Christine Lamont and Paul Walker, who just beat Jessica Hirst and Gary Woodcock to second place on a countback in the mixed foursomes competition.

Gillian has just returned to golf following an accident during the bad weather when she fell and broke a wrist.

Lady captain Lynn Bradley and husband Steve came in fourth in the competition, which is 104 years old. The Taylor Cups were presented by the Reverend JT Taylor, in recognition of his and his wife’s captaincies.
