Woodsome Hall golfer Rochelle Morris shared the runner-up position at the English Women’s Amateur Championship at Hunstanton Golf Club.

The 20-year-old ended the tournament three over to share second place with Elizabeth Prior of Burhill Golf Club.

However, the pair were quite a way behind the winner Bronte Law from Bramhall Golf Club near Stockport who was 13 under for the four rounds.

However, Morris – who shot rounds of 71,72, 72 and 76 at the Norfolk links course – will be more than happy after also impressing at the English Women’s Match Play Championships where she reached the last eight.

The next big test will be the English Women’s Open Amateur Stroke Play Championship to be played at St Annes Old Links Golf Club, on August 4-6.
