ELITE riders Ed Clancy and Andy Tennant made sure Rapha Condor Sharp kept a tight grip on the 10th Revolution Series at the Manchester velodrome.

In the Flying Lap Clancy took the win with a ride of 13.292 seconds from Steven Burke (IG Sigma Sport) on 13.901.

After two rounds Rapha Condor Sharp are on 125 points, from the German team Rudy Project RT, on 101.

In the Future Stars event of the same series local riders and RST teammates Levi Moody and Gabriel Cullaigh set the pace in all three races and excited the crowd with some intelligent team riding.

Though they were riding for different teams on the night (Moody for Sportscover and Cullaigh for Net-App Endura) their joint efforts ensured Moody got his hands on the series yellow jersey.

In the 20 lap scratch race Cullaigh launched a blistering attack five laps from the finish and stayed in front until the final lap.

Moody was on his wheel all the way but got pipped metres from the line to take third place.

In the 20 lap points race again Cullaigh and Moody dominated the pace to take second and third place overall.

In the final Six-Lap Dash again it was Cullaigh who launched another attack after just two laps with Moody on his wheel until the final lap.

Moody finished third again and it was enough to give him the series leader position.
