Holmfirth racers James Lodge and Joe Irving head to the final round of the British Superbikes Championship at Brands Hatch this weekend looking towards the 2015 season.

Teenager Irving was pipped for ther Motul Motostar title by Stroud’s Jordan Weaving at Silverstone in the last round, but the Redline KTM rider is now looking to producing a strong performance in Kent to enhance his options for 2015.

“I have quite a few options for next year, I just need to get all the details,” said Irving.

!I will have a sit down with my family, PR Man and manager and see what the best move is.”

Twice British 125cc champion Lodge gave up his chase for the Superstock 600 championship title a couple of meetings ago and has since tried his hand at Superstock 1000, Supersport and Evo Supersport rides as he works out what 2015 might hold.

The Motobreakers Kawasaki rider will be competing in the Superstock 1000 at Brands and is hoping for better than his Evo outing at Silverstone.

“Silverstone was a disaster in the end after I was second out of the Evos and 19th overall after free practice on the Friday,” said Lodge,

“Then the saturday morning qualifying was wet and I was running in the top ten, but the motor blew up.

“I missed race one and had to start from the back of the grid in race two on my superstock bike again.

“To be fair the time I did on my superstock bike would have put me in the top three in the Superstock 600 race, so I wasn’t too upset.

“I’m riding a zx10 superstock this weekend, if I can get in the top 25 I’d be happy as there are over 50 entries, and it’s super competitive, but I’m looking forward to it.”
