DENBY DALE’S Tom Tunstall is in a race against time to take his place on the grid at Oulton Park on Monday after a disastrous opening to his ViSK British Superbike season.
Tunstall was devastated at Brands Hatch after mechanical problems hindered him and he crashed out seconds into the race. The 32-year-old, who has set his sights on winning the privateer’s competition this season, admitted its back to the drawing board for the Hardinge Doodson Motorsport Honda team.
“We haven’t chance to test the bike – it is just going to be a matter of working as hard as we can to get ready.”
