Falcon pair Neil Savage and Ben Robinson put one over their experienced teammate Simon Tyas at the Huddersfield’s club’s latest trials meeting.

Kirby Wood near Flockton was the stage for 32 Falcon members to take on a four-lap eight-section course – Robinson winning the hard course experts class and Savage edging out Tyas in the Over 40s.

Mick Rock was the man in charge of route marking and his choice of section line was just about right for all three classes.

Road racer Tom Tunstall posted his first class victory by beating Ian Haigh and top Youth was Aaron Goodlad on the 50/50 route.

On the easy course Ian Roper ran off from Jack Bray and Doug Shepley.

Falcon stage their next trial at Nethermoor Farm on July 14.
