A break of 49 from Mohammed Naeem was the highest mark and earned SMileS Open Snooker League leaders Lindley WMC a 2-2 draw with Golcar Conservative Club.

Meanwhile, Naeem’s teammate Robert Read is returning to his first-ever club tomorrow night, Hillhouse & Birkby WMC, where he is playing an Exhibition Evening to try and raise funds for the ailing set-up.

Read will be taking on six club players, plus ex-pros Rob Armitage and Johnny Gallagher, and rounding off the evening (hopefully) with some exhibition shots.

Entry is free, and the matches get under way 7.30pm.
