TWO Moldgreen Conservative Club players passed the half-century mark during breaks in the SMileS Open Snooker League.

Graham Hill made the highpoint with 55 against Police player Chris Holmes in a 101-48 win, while Hill’s Moldgreen teammate Ashley Almond produced a 52 break on the way to beating Michael Hanson 71-37.

Those were the two success stories for Moldgreen, while Police hit back with wins for Keith Skarz over Leo Carr, and Richard Parr, who beat the second Almond brother, Julian, as honours finished even.
