MARTIN McVeigh and Angela Horner played up for Phoenix in Division IV of the Huddersfield Badminton League and helped their club to a 6-3 win over Fartown B.

McVeigh won two rubbers played and Horner one, but there wasn’t enough time for them to shine in the Mixed because of three very close matches extending the action.

The 6-3 scoreline matches Phoenix A’s win over the same opposition earlier in the season.
