SUPER swimmer Myles Stirk is enjoying sensational success.

The Year 7 Hipperholme Grammar School student took four winning trophies at the Yorkshires.

The 12-year-old took gold in 100m freestyle, 100m backstroke, 200m individual medley and 200m freestyle.

He also had two silver medals in 200m backstroke and 400m freestyle.

From Hipperholme, he joined the Grammar School in September 2011 having been awarded a Sports Scholarship.

Stirk trains six times a week as well as entering competitions.

Head of PE at Hipperholme, Mark Hendry, said: “We are very proud of the sporting achievements of all of our pupils, and their success is always celebrated in school assemblies.”
