The Sykes Cup will again take centre stage this coming Sunday following the postponement of three quarter-final ties.

Matches held over are Golcar v Kirkburton, Meltham v Scholes and Shelley v Barkisland.

The only last-eight tie to get under way was at Rastrick, where the Cedar Court Conference side bowled out Drakes Premiership Moorlands for 272.

David Winn and Jaryd Maxwell rescued Moorlands from a poor start with a 200-run partnership.

That tie resumes tonight, Monday June 15, at 6.30pm (bar open at Rastrick from 6pm).

There was no play possible at Meltham or Shelley, but they completed 6.1 overs at Golcar, where Kirkburton had lost skipper Andy Smith and were 18-1. The tie re-starts on Sunday.
