BRIGHOUSE Rangers were in uncompromising mood as they notched a 56-0 win over Milford Marlins in Division II of the Yorkshire Youth League’s Under 13 section.

Four games into a new season, Rangers have found their feet and must be satisfied with their performances so far.

They now face their ultimate challenge today with a visit to Division I leaders and Yorkshire Cup holders Hunslet Warriors.

The Marlins were simply out-played and out-muscled throughout the game and never really tested the Rangers line.

Sam Bourouh opened the scoring for Rangers with a typically strong run then coach’s man of the match Ronan Sylvester finished off a flowing move to score in the corner – both conversions were missed.

Sylvester scored again sandwiched in-between two Tristan Fallowfield tries and Luke Worsley converted to take Rangers into a 22-0 lead.

Alex Tankard then beat the on-rushing defence to score his first of three tries.

Bourouh completed his hat trick and Brighouse completed a comfortable win with James Whiteley adding a further touchdown.
