LINDLEY SWIFTS were in impressive form as they put Slaithwaite Saracens to the sword winning their Under 13 clash 64-4.

Swifts got off to a great start as Lewis Harrison and Tom Booth thundered up the field before Jamie Kelly weaved through for the opening try.

Slathwaite hit back but Lindley held out and then turned the tables as Ronan Costello scored the second try and slotted over the goal.

Swifts then took control and they were 32-0 to the good by half-time scoring a further four tries and three conversions.

The pattern continued in the second half as the second half Lindley scored a further six tries and five conversions.

However, Saracens kept battling and earned a try when a good passing move led to Ben Hawker diving over in the corner.
