MELTHAM All Blacks had a superb weekend as they secured a clean sweep in their five matches.

The Under 12s set the ball rolling with a quality team performance giving them a 12-4 triumph at Ovenden.

Victory was secured through tries from man-of-the-match Patrick Diavewa and George King, who also added the goals.

Top tackler was Sam Rochford.

There was also an excellent victory for the Under 11s as they powered to a 54-18 derby win over Newsome Panthers.

Excellent work from Elliot Morris earned him three tries, with Oliver Kirk (2), Jack Thackerey (2), Haydn Evans, Jordan Fleary and man-of-the-match Patrick Milton adding the others.

Goals were kicked by top tackler David Dyson, Thackerey, Kirk and Joe Wood.

Another big win was recorded by the Under 10s, who beat Keighley 52-0.

Man-of-the-match Greg Thompson opened the scoring with the first of a hat tricks of tries, while Luke Pogson scored four and Elliot Currid three.

Conversions came from Pogson, Currid, Jonathan Lamb, Jack Parkin, Frazer Morris and Tristan Earnshaw.

Jordan McDonald was player of the week, while debutant Joe Townend had a fine game.

In a hard-fought contest against Townville, the Under 9s triumphed 48-36.

Man-of-the-match and top tackler Daniel King scored four tries, with others from Oliver Szlachcic (2), Jacob Glover (2), Cory McDonagh and Michael Tooley.

George Doyle was most improved player and Christopher Brearley was the player of the week.

And the Under 8s completed the clean sweep with a 34-20 triumph at Queensbury.

Tries were scored by top tackler Jordan Williams, George Sykes-Kenworthy, and Christian Pestell, with Pestell adding conversions.

Player-of-the-week was Ryan White.
