IN-FORM Meltham All Blacks warmed up for Friday’s James Joseph Conlan Memorial Trophy final with an impressive 30-0 triumph over Burley Lions in Division V of the Pennine League.

It was the ideal way to prepare for what is expected to be a top final tussle against Lindley Swifts at Emley FC (7.00).

The All Blacks were forced to produce some solid defence in the opening quarter, and they were then rewarded for their efforts the longer the game went on.

Ryan White opened the scoring with a try just before the interval, with second-half scores added by Tom Smith, Nathan Richardson and two more from White to complete a hat trick.

Josh Worrall added the conversions.
