MOLDGREEN Under 14s looked impressive in their new kit as they beat Doncaster Tollbar 48-10.

The new strip, sponsored by the Piazza shopping centre, brought the boys luck as Liam Harriott flew over the whitewash in the opening seconds of the game this was converted by Joe Dickenson.

Harriott was over again the goal attempt just went wide, but Doncaster hit back when they crossed in the corner but failed to get the conversion.

Moldgreen new boy Ben Hooper intercepted on the 20 metre line to power away for their third try and Dickenson added the goal and the home side then ran riot with Connor Smith, Jordan Gill-Smith and John Coletta also crossing and with another goal from Dickenson and one from Smith to lead 30-10 at half-time.

The second half started with Dickenson scoring two tries to which he added the goals.

There were some outstanding runs from Keiron Reilly, Miles Dickenson and John Coletta, and with a slick move involving Jordi Simpson and Isaac Griffiths led to Leon Donaldson going over in the corner.

They will look to continue their impressive form this weekend with an away fixture against Rodley Rockets.
