MOLDGREEN have a golden chance to extend their lead at the top of Division I of the Pennine League tomorrow.

Player-coach Tim Jones' side face a trip to struggling Park Amateurs, who have won only once this season.

And with second-placed Kippax Welfare having a weekend off, Moldgreen have the opportunity to open up a three-point gap.

First of all, however, they have to beat the side from Halifax.

It's obviously something they should be able to do, particularly if they can build on their encouraging display at Premier Division leaders Drighlington a week ago.

They may have been beaten 26-10 in the Pennine President's Cup.

But with the likes of Rob Joyce, pictured right, and Gillan Warrington in excellent form that day, they whould prove far too strong.

St Joseph's should also have something to celebrate this weekend.

They were disappointed to have last week's game postponed and will be looking to return with an expected win over Dodworth.

Second Division sides Emley Moor and Newsome Panthers were also without games last weekend and return to away trips.

Th Panthers should get the points at bottom club Dudley Hill A, while Moor face a big challenge at Boothtown.

Third Division Lindley Swifts underlined their good form with an excellent cup win over Wortley Dragons and it will be a surprise if they don't succeed at Hoyland.

The match of the day in Division IV is undoubtedly at The Cross where Underbank host derby rivals Slaithwaite Saracens in a match that really could go either way.

Meltham All Blacks are also in Fourth Division action and visit Hollinwood.

Moldgreen A celebrated a top cup win at Cowling a week ago and will now be oping to back that up with a Division V triumph at Clayton A.

St Joseph's also had an excellent knockout victory at Hoyland and will look to carry on the good work at Harehills in Division VI.

But Slaithwite A face a very big assignment at home to unbeaten leaders Keighley Albion A.
