Huddersfield Giants have christened next Thursday’s home Super League XVIII play-off clash ‘£10 Thursday’.
That’s the price fans will have to pay to watch the newly-crowned Super League minor champions do battle in a match where a win would take them to within one game of the Grand Final at Old Trafford on Saturday, October 5.
But it’s even cheaper for juniors (Under 16s), who will be charged just £5 on the night.
The knock-down admission price does, however, only apply to the first 5,000 tickets on offer.
And Giants marketing chief James Brammer is confident the offer will be well received.
“The atmosphere for our game against Wakefield when we lifted the League Leaders Shield was incredibly, and we’d love to think it will be similar next Thursday,” said Brammer.
“With that in mind, we’ve been able to offers fans this special £10 deal, which we are very confident will be well received.
“To watch a game of this quality, intensity and importance is incredible value for money.”
Tickets are available in all of the John Smith’s Stadium Stands, and season-ticket holders can sit in their reserved seats if they bring their books with them on the day.
The price of matchday tickets will increase significantly on the day of the game, so supporters are urged to book their tickets well in advance.
Tickets are available online by at www.giantsrl.com or via the John Smith’s Stadium ticket office on 01484 484123.
