HUDDERSFIELD Giants will attempt to play their postponed Senior Academy pre-season game at Leigh Centurions on Saturday (2.00).
The match was called off a week ago due to a frozen Hilton Park pitch.
It meant the likes of on-loan Wigan Warriors utility back Sean Gleeson, Super League squad men Paul Smith, Tom Hemingway and Leroy Cudjoe and new Halifax recruit Sam Barlow were unable to show the Giants coaching staff what they could do.
But, hopefully, that will be a different story this weekend.
Meanwhile, the fixtures for the new Senior Academy campaign have now been confirmed.
They open with a tough home test against St Helens on Sunday, February 25 before facing an even sterner assignment at Leeds Rhinos a week later.
