MARTIN ASPINWALL will make his Giants Super League return at Hull FC tomorrow (3.15).

And pack leader John Skandalis is also poised to play as coach Jon Sharp’s side look to secure a first double of the season.

Great Britain winger Aspinwall has not played since suffering serious knee ligament damage against Warrington last year.

He is in line to replace Shane Elford on the right wing, with the Australian dropped to the reserves, who also visit Hull tomorrow.

Top Aussie prop Skandalis has missed his side’s last two games with a dead leg but he too is ready to return.

Both men will add extra steel to the Huddersfield side, with Sharp believing they could make all the difference.

“Martin and John are big players for us and this is a big game,” said Sharp, whose side have lost their last two league games.

“Unless either of them suffers any ill effects in our final training sessions, I would expect them to feature this weekend, and it is looking extremely positive.

“If they aren’t 100% they certainly won’t be risked, because we know we’re going to need to be at our very best to match Hull tomorrow. We can’t afford to field players who aren’t fully fit.

“But if they do play, I will be looking at them to make a big difference because we know we’ll be facing a very tough challenge.

“Everyone is aware Hull have had their injury problems, and they’ve suffered as a result.

“But they’ve been getting some of their key men back in recent weeks and I’ve been impressed with what I’ve seen from them on tape.

“They possess a strong squad with fantastic players throughout the side. It promises to be a cracking game.”
