Batley Bulldogs will be in the pink against the Giants on Sunday.
The Championship club have chosen this weekend as their Breast Cancer Charity Fundraising Weekend, with the big Middle 8s derby clash against Super League Huddersfield the main event.
This is the third year the Bulldogs have staged their cancer charity weekend, and they are confident they will build significantly on the £21,000 they’ve already raised, with a bumper crowd expected at Mount Pleasant as the two clubs battle for a Super League spot.
Dubbed ‘The Pink Match’, Sunday’s Kirklees encounter will feature a whole host of pre-match and post-match live entertainment to keep the fans happy and boost the charity funds. A ducking pool with fans, sponsors and officials taking part is always a big hit.
But the most high-profile act by the club on the day will be the sight of the Bulldogs taking to the field in a one-off pink kit, which will be auctioned off afer the match.
Fans are also asked to wear something pink to show their support for the breast cancer charity cause.
