IN-FORM Huddersfield Giants are ready to do battle with Castleford Tigers on two fronts!
Top priority for Sunday's engage Super League trip to The Jungle (3.30) is securing a fourth win of the campaign.
But Giants chief Jon Sharp is also determined to tame the Tigers fans in the process and make sure his players are not intimidated by the hostile home atmosphere.
"Two things are always guaranteed when you go to Castleford," said Sharp, pictured above.
"The first is that the game will be tough, and the second is that you will receive a hostile reception from the home fans.
"The Jungle is one of those traditional grounds where the fans are close to the field, and it's affected the performances of a number of players over the years.
"We've got to make sure that doesn't happen to us.
"It's important we get off to a positive start and give the Cas fans very little to shout about.
"Hopefully, the only fans we'll hear most of the time will be ours!"
As well as the trip to Castleford, the club are also planning ahead for the Challenge Cup trip to Halifax a week later.
Pre-match packages are now in place, with a meal at the Galpharm followed by luxury coach travel to The Shay. Contact the club for details.
