FLYING Giants winger Bolu Fagborun is poised to make his first competitive start of the year.

The 19-year-old, who was handed a Super League contract for the start of this season, underwent a minor ankle injury a month ago.

That forced him to miss the Giants' opening Senior Academy win at Castleford 12 days ago.

But he has now fully recovered and takes his place in the side to face Featherstone Rovers at the Lionheart Stadium tonight (7.30).

Fagborun's presence will provide coach Lee St Hilaire's side with a major boost as they look to secure another grading victory and increase their chances of booking a place in the Academy Championship.

Also in the starting line-up are Fagborun's fellow Super League squad mates Thomas Hemingway and Jason Southwell.

Another player looking to impress will be centre Richard Squires, who has been named in the Great Britain BARLA Under 21s squad.
