GIANTS officials are urging supporters planning to go to Sunday's Castleford clash to get their tickets in advance.

A bumper Huddersfield turn-out is expected at The Jungle on the back of last Sunday's 64-14 destruction of Harlequins.

And with a new scheme introduced by Super League whereby 10% of away ticket sales sold in advance go the visitors, officials at the Galpharm hope Giants fans take full advantage.

"There is every indication we could be taking one of our biggest away followings in years," said Giants general manager Richard Thewlis.

"So, hopefully, as many of them as possible will get down to our ticket office and buy them from us.

"It does provide us with a valuable extra source of income.

"For example, we made £550 from advance ticket sales for our opening away game at Leeds Rhinos, and there's no reason why that figure can't be beaten this weekend."

Tickets can be purchased from the Galpharm ticket office up to 5.00pm today and between 9am and noon tomorrow. The ticket office number for further details is 0870 4444 552.

The action on Sunday gets under way at The Jungle at 12.30, with the Senior Academy clash between the two clubs.

Super League half-back Thomas Hemingway is hoping to make his return following shin splits.

But fellow senior squad men Jonathan Grayshon (ankle) and Simon George (wrist) are sidelined.

George did, in fact, undergo minor surgery to repair the damage.
