JON SHARP will look at making changes in the wake of Sunday's shock 17-10 Super League home defeat to Hull KR.
The Giants chief had kept faith with the same 17 that performed so well at Bradford Bulls the week before.
That meant no place in Sunday's side for the likes of utility back Shane Elford, who has recovered from a chest infection that sidelined him at the Bulls, and back-row pair Paul Smith and Andy Raleigh.
Smith has now recovered from the knee and back injuries he suffered against Wigan in the pre-season game and showed up well in Saturday's 20-14 Academy warm-up win at Leigh.
Great Britain winger Martin Aspinwall was also another major absentee as he continues to recover from groin surgery.
It remains touch and go whether he will be fit to return when the Giants resume their Super League campaign at Leeds Rhinos on Sunday week (March 4).
But Sharp will definitely consider looking at all the options available to him as he bids to find a winning Headingley formula.
"We've got a couple of big weeks ahead of us," said Sharp.
"Everyone's going to have to work very hard to put things right."
Stuart Jones will be in line to continue after being cleared of any illegal play in the brawl with former teammate Iain Morrison during the Hull KR clash.
Both men were sin-binned over the incident and it was also placed on report.
But Morrison has been ordered to appear in front of disciplinary chiefs later today to answer a charge of 'striking'.
