HALIFAX could field some of their big-hitters in Monday's clash against the Giants at The Shay.

Coach Anthony Farrell is keeping team selection close to his chest at this stage.

But he has confirmed that several first-choice senior players are in the reckoning.

They could include new Australian signing Ben Fisher, who has joined from North Sydney.

The hooker is a former teammate of current Halifax half-back Ben Black, who is another standing by to play.

An appearance from the returning Damian Gibson, who starred for Halifax at full-back in Super League before making a move to Castleford, is another possibility.

One man definitely ruled out is former Giants centre James Bunyan, who has undergone shoulder surgery.

But other ex-Huddersfield men Rikki Sheriffe, Gareth Greenwood and Johnny Simpson could get the nod.
