GIANTS star Brad Drew admits today is one of the most exciting days in his rugby league season!

The Carnegie Challenge Cup quarter-final draw was taking place at 4.45 this afternoon on BBC News 24.

And the Australian, who was again outstanding as the Giants won 36-10 at Salford in the fifth round on Friday night, can't wait to see all the action unfold.

"The Challenge Cup has been great for us, and getting to the final last year was a real highlight,"said Drew, whose side are joined in the draw by seven other Super League sides.

"Some of the excitement it generates is unbelievable, and for me the draw is one of the best bits.

"We don't have a draw like this in Australia, which is a real shame.

"I get a buzz waiting for our name to get picked out of the hat and seeing who we play. I love it!"

As soon as the draw is over, Drew and the Giants will turn their attentions back to Friday's big home Super League clash against Bradford.

Once again, Huddersfield are injury-free, with club officials announcing a unique offer to help attract another bumper turn-out.

Anyone pre-buying a ticket ahead of Friday will be entered into a draw to have lunch with the Giants' Super League squad.

The second prize is an official matchball signed by all the first-team squad.

Pre-bought tickets are £2 cheaper than those for pay-on-the-day.

Tickets are available from the Galpharm ticket office, with Children Under 12 going free and pre-matchday discounts now available meaning a family of four can go to the game for £33.
