UK Anti-Doping (UKAD) has announced former Giants hooker Sean Penkywicz has been given a two-year ban after testing positive for a growth hormone releasing peptide.
The 33-year-old Leigh Centurions, who served a two-year drugs ban when he was at Huddersfield in 2005, underwent an out-of-competition test last December which later proved positive.
UKAD say the case is only the second of its kind in the UK relating to the banned substance GHRP-6, which is used by bodybuilders.
