THERE are very high hopes that we'll attract another good crowd to the Galpharm this weekend.

We've already had two fantastic matches against St Helens - the Super League game at Knowsley Road and the Challenge Cup at home last month - when the results could have gone either way.

That should have whetted the appetite of all the fans who saw those games, and it would be a shame if we didn't get another good crowd against Saints on Sunday.

A lot of people are working very hard behind the scenes in a bid to increase the numbers coming to our matches, and I believe they are doing a great job.

I really am delighted with how the gates have improved this season, and I believe we're about 50% up on the figure from the same time last year.

So, once again and behalf of everyone at the club, I would like to say a big `thank you' to all the supporters who are rallying to the Giants cause.

But an increase in attendances is just one of the very positive signs at the club right now.

As head coach, I have to say that, overall, I've been delighted with the standard of performances we've been producing.

Apart from the games against Leeds and Bradford, we've generally been great, although the last thing we'll do is get carreied away.

We know there's still a lot of hard work to do across the board.
