HUDDERSFIELD Giants will have an extra 300 supporters cheering them on in Sunday's opening Super League clash.
The Examiner has sponsored the game against Castleford Tigers at the McAlpine Stadium (3.00).
And we have 300 tickets to give away to junior fans.
Some of those have gone to the newsboys and girls who deliver The Examiner each night, and they joined Giants star Paul March at Dryclough Road Newsagents to promote the scheme.
The young fans will get in free to the McAlpine Stadium clash, provided they are accompanied by an adult.
Newsagents who want tickets should contact Jane Dutton on 01484 437748.
The Giants link-up with the Examiner is one of the ways in which the Huddersfield club are looking to attract a bumper crowd for their opening match in Super League IX.
Huddersfield have also made a number of promotional visits ahead of the big kick-off and will be in town on Saturday as part of a final push.
The aim is to attract a crowd above last season's average of 4,700.
