CASTLEFORD Tigers have dropped Rangi Chase and Joe Westerman from their squad for tonight’s encounter against Huddersfield Giants as a "disciplinary measure".
The club have brought 17-year-old back-rower Oliver Holmes into their squad following the decision to drop half-back Chase and loose-forward Westerman.
A club statement read: "Castleford Tigers players Rangi Chase and Joe Westerman have been stood down from this evening’s game with Huddersfield Giants as a disciplinary measure.
"The Tigers will be making no further comment regarding this matter at this stage."
