HUDDERSFIELD'S Senior Academy side go in search of First Division Grand Final glory for a second successive time tonight.

Having failed to reach the final on Monday when they were beaten 48-12 at Leigh Cenurions, the Giants have a second bite of the cherry when they visit Featherstone Rovers (7.30).

A victory tonight would set up another meeting in the Grand Final at Leigh, with the winners crowned Division I champions. That final is expected to be at The Coliseum on Monday week (7.30).

But first, coach Lee St Hilaire's men have to overcome the challenge of a Featherstone side who beat the Giants 36-30 at the same venue six weeks ago.

Included in tonight's side is flying winger Bolu Fagborun, who will be expected to have a big game after three good weeks with the Super League side.

And starting at prop will be Jason Southwell, who will be part of the senior squad next season.

Yet such is the injury crisis at the club right now that there are no current members of the Super League squad available to boost the side ahead of tonight's trip.

Instead, St Hilaire is pinning his faith on the club's crop of young stars to rise to the occasion and guarantee a Grand Final appearance.

Huddersfield Giants: Lister; Fagborun, Joyce, Knight, Hull; Williams, Mennell; Southwell, Garside, Mills, Gledhill, Senior, Samuels. Subs: Armitage, Robinson, George (S), Clare.
