THE Giants' Senior Academy side are looking to bounce back from last week's first defeat of the campaign tonight when they take on Featherstone Rovers at Syngenta (7.30).
Huddersfield are still smarting from their 51-32 defeat at First Division leaders Leigh when winger Marcus George grabbed a hat trick of tries.
And they are aiming to see Featherstone suffer a backlash in the first Under 21s fixture to be staged at the Syngenta complex.
Once again, coach Lee St Hilaire is forced to field a weakened side because of injuries to the Super League squad.
But he does welcome back half-back Thomas Hemingway and utility forward Karl Mills.
Hemingway missed the Leigh trip due to his Yorkshire Junior Academy commitments, while Mills is back after having his appendix removed.
And it's safe to assume that Hemingway will be looking forward to playing.
The talented goalkicker missed out on playing against Lancashire at Odsal in order to allow some of the fringe county players to have a run.
In Hemingway's absence, Yorkshire failed to complete the double.
But all the signs suggest the Giants half-back did enough in the first county game to guarantee him a place in the Great Britain Junior Academy squad to face Australia at the end of the year.
Huddersfield's Junior Academy side, meanwhile, are in action at Leigh on Sunday.
Victory would help the leaders maintain their unbeaten start to their First Division campaign.
