FIRED-UP Giants coach Jon Sharp is confident tomorrow's big home Super League clash against leaders St Helens (3.00) will bring the best out of his side.
Huddersfield go into the top showdown on the back of an excellent 18-16 triumph at Wakefield a week ago.
Sharp knows his players must show a massive improvement if they are to make any impact against the only side in the competition that still boasts a 100% record.
But the Giants chief believes his players are ready to deliver.
"Right now, there's no better side in the competition than St Helens," said Sharp.
"Everyone knows what a threat they are attack-wise, they've got quality all across the park.
"But, defensively, they're strong, and for any side to break them down they need to be at their very best.
"That's the challenge that faces us tomorrow, but it's a challenge we're all looking forward to.
"In the four games we've played so far, we've shown some real quality in patches.
"But to match a side like Saints, we need to show that quality for the full 80 minutes.
"We can't afford to start slowly against them or else we'll struggle.
"If we can get it right for the whole game, we'll give ourselves an excellent chance."
