CONFIDENT coach Jon Sharp is looking for the Giants to pass their latest screen test and begin a victory charge which will take them all the way to the Super League play-offs.

His Huddersfield side take centre stage at the McAlpine Stadium tonight against fellow top-six chasers Warrington Wolves (6.00) in front of the Sky TV cameras.

Victory would put the Giants' play-off bid back on track after Sunday's shock 24-20 defeat at bottom club Castleford Tigers and virtually end Warrington's hopes of finishing in the top six.

With Sharp confirming experienced duo Julian Bailey and Marcus St Hilaire will return following injury, the Giants are looking in good shape for what is a vital clash.

It will be centre Bailey's first game back since he suffered a fractured cheekbone at Salford six weeks ago, while winger St Hilaire has missed the last two games with a leg injury.

It means Sharp is in a position to name his strongest side for several months, with Stanley Gene (dislocated foot) now the only key absentee, and he is hoping that will prove decisive.

"One look at what we've got on the bench tonight shows we're now looking much healthier," said Sharp.

"Being in the position to bring on Penkywicz, Smith, Slicker and Gannon fills me with a great deal of confidence.

"And after last week's setback against Castleford it's good to be able to call on a squad with this much strength.

"We've put last week's disappointment at Castleford firmly behind us, and now it's the time to look ahead.

"We know we've got some big games coming up, but first we have to get Warrington out of the way."

Huddersfield Giants: Reilly; St Hilaire, Bailey, Evans, Donlan; Costin, March; Fleary, Joseph, Crabtree, Nero, Jones, Roarty. Subs: Penkywicz, Smith, Slicker, Gannon.
