GIANTS fans who like a punt can now place their bets at the McAlpine Stadium.
Starting this Sunday with the Super League IX opener against Castleford Tigers, new company C & P Yorkshire Ltd will be offering supporters the chance to have a flutter on a whole variety of issues affecting the game.
Prices will obviously be available on where the Giants will finish in the Super League table and which Huddersfield player will finish highest in Super League's overall tryscoring charts.
Odds relating to the Challenge Cup will also be on offer, including prices for all the clubs still involved in the competition.
But of more interest to the matchday supporter could be the various bets on offer for the game taking place at the stadium on that particular day.
On Sunday, for instance, fans can bet on who will win between the Giants and the Tigers and by what margin one will triumph over the other.
Bets will also be taken on the first tryscorer, with C & P already revealing that new Giants centre Stuart Donlan is at 10-1 to score the opening touchdown.
Therefore, a £5 bet would net a fan £50 if the ex-Halifax threequarter came up trumps.
C & P officials will be easy to find as they will be located in both the Lawrence Batley Stand and John Smith's Stand.
