HUDDERSFIELD Giants are to lodge an official complaint over the fact that opponents Bradford Bulls had 14 players on the field during part of Saturday's Senior Academy clash at Laund Hill.

For a full set of six tackles, the visitors had an extra man on the pitch.

That obviously didn't affect the final outcome as the Giants were thrashed 70-12 after trailing 32-12 at half-time.

But the Rugby Football League has always taken a dim view of sides playing with 14 men for such a period of time and may feel they need to react to such an offence.
