Huddersfield Giants chief Paul Anderson feels his team is in a ‘good place’ heading into the busy Easter period.

Third-placed Huddersfield made it four Super League XX triumphs on the trot with Friday’s 29-10 win at Warrington Wolves.

It was their first win over the Wolves since April 2011 and adds to their confidence ahead of Friday’s home clash against Salford City Reds and the Easter Monday trip to Hull KR.

And with another clean bill of health being reported, the mood within the camp is understandably upbeat.

“We’re in a good place coming into Easter,” said Anderson.

“Things could have been far worse with the start we made to the season, when we lost our opening three games.

“But that’s four weeks ago now, and if you take that round one defeat to Hull out of the equation and then consider we weren’t too far away at Leeds and Wigan, there’s a lot to feel positive about.

“And what we did at Warrington the other night has only added to that.

“They’re one of the teams who will be there or thereabouts at the end of the season and there won’t be many sides who go there and win this year.

“We all saw what they did to Leeds in their previous home game.

“Everyone has to do everything they can to make sure we keep on building on the what we’re doing at the moment.”
