HUDDERSFIELD Giants rattled up their ninth Super League XVIII victory of the season with a 50-30 home win over Hull KR.
The foundations for the victory were laid in the opening half as they built up a 26-12 interval lead.
Craig Kopczak, Michael Lawrence, Shaun Lunt and Joe Wardle and five Danny Brough goals gave the Giants a rock-solid start, although Hull KR tries from Craig Hall and Greg Eden and two Michael Dobson goals ensured the visitors remained in the hunt.
They also made a fist of it in the second half, adding further converted scors through Eden, David Hodgson and Con Mika.
But they were able to get within striking distance and were undone with further Huddersfield tries from Scott Grix, Brett Ferres, Lunt and Wardle.
