SPECULATION is growing that Kyle Wood is about to be unveiled as a Huddersfield Giants player.

The club took to social network Twitter this morning to announce they are set to announce a new Super League signing, with Wakefield half-back or hooker Wood, London Broncos back-row forward Chris Bailey and Salford winger Jodie Broughton all known to be on the Giants' radar.

But with Wakefield coach Richard Agar having announced a week ago that Wood had rejected a new Wildcats deal and was expected to sign elsewhere, it would be no surprise if the former Giant was about to return 'home'.

The 24-year spent two seasons at Huddersfield before moving to Wakefield for the start of 2012.

During that time he has become as regular in the Trinity Super League side, with his performances known to have caught the eye of Giants coach Paul Anderson.
