UPBEAT captain Kevin Brown believes confidence in the Giants camp remains as high as ever and the players can’t wait to do Super League XVI battle at Hull KR on Saturday night!
Huddersfield lost top spot following their 20-6 home defeat to champions Wigan Warriors last time out.
But the influential Giants stand-off knows that result will count for little by the end of the season and that his side remains on course to be a top title contender – something he hopes his side will show this weekend.
“Losing to Wigan was a bit of a blow, but it’s not knocked our confidence in the least,” said Brown.
“We know we didn’t play well against them, but we also still know this was a game we could have won. There’s no question we would have done had we taken all our chances.
“As a result, we’re well aware of where we went wrong and what to do to put that right, and we will.
“Hopefully, we’ll start to see that at Hull KR on Saturday.
“It’s going to be another tough game, all of them in Super League are.
“But we’ve got a good record against them and beaten them a number of times in recent seasons, including some impressive victories at their place.
“All being well, we’ll get another one this weekend and we can right some of the wrongs of the Wigan game.”
