LEROY CUDJOE has been challenged to build on his consistent England form when he returns to Huddersfield Giants pre-season training at the start of December.

The 24-year-old Huddersfield centre played in all three of his nation’s Autumn internationals, including the series final against France at Salford a fortnight ago.

Head coach Paul Anderson wasn’t surprised the former Newsome Panthers junior produced some impressive England displays.

But he’s made it clear he expects Cudjoe to build on those showings and give even more to the Giants’ cause in 2013.

“We were all delighted to see Leroy playing in all three games,” said Anderson.

“It was a sign of the level of consistency he’s producing at the very highest level.

“Leroy’s challenge now is to build on that when he returns to us at the start of December.

“I’m sure he’ll benefit from having a few weeks off, because he didn’t miss a game for us last season.

“But he’s already been told what’ll be expected of him when he comes back to us.

“He’s now establishing himself as an England international and we’ll be looking for big things from him in training.

“As well as having a key role for us in Super League next season, he’s also put himself firmly in the shop window for next Autumn’s World Cup, so it could be a massive year for him.”
