Leroy Cudjoe will miss tomorrow night’s Super League trip to face the Castleford Tigers at the The Jungle (8pm).

The Giants’ international centre picked up a first half knock in the 48-16 Challenge Cup sixth round exit at the hands of Leeds Rhinos.

The 27-year-old took no part in the second half at Headingley and has been left out for the trip to Castleford.

Included in the Giants squad of 19 is winger Jodie Broughton, who was not included for the Leeds clash.

Australian full-back Luke Dorn’s hopes of returning to action for the Tigers have been dashed.

Dorn was set to face the Giants, but is now set for more time on the sidelines after suffering a recurrence of his hamstring injury.

“It looks like Luke has torn his hamstring again,” Tigers coach Daryl Powell confirmed.

“He had a scan and we’ll know more soon, but it’s pretty tough news.

“He was just coming back and he was going to play this week, but he has re-done it.

“It is taking some time. It is pretty tough at the moment, we’re not getting much luck – unfortunately.”

The Tigers were without a host of key players for last Saturday’s Challenge Cup defeat 40-14 at Hull, but Powell has been able to include long-term casualty Denny Solomona.

The 21-year-old New Zealander suffered a knee injury in the Super League round three defeat at St Helens in February and was due to return against Catalans Dragons earlier this month, but had to pull out during the warm-up.

However, he is in the Tigers squad for tomorrow night.
