Huddersfield Giants have been ignored for live television coverage against Leeds Rhinos in the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup.

Three ties will be broadcast live over the weekend of May 6 to 8.

On Friday May 6 (8pm) the Sky Sports cameras will return to the Fox’s Biscuits Stadium to see Batley Bulldogs take on Catalans Dragons.

The BBC will broadcast two games over the weekend starting with Castleford Tigers v Salford Red Devils on Saturday, May 7, (2.30pm), followed by St Helens against Hull FC on Sunday, May 8, (4.30pm).

The BBC will also broadcast the quarter-final draw on BBC Two on the Sunday, following the completion of St Helens v Hull FC.

Paul Anderson’s Giants, who face Leeds in Super League on Friday night, will play them in the Cup at the John Smith’s Stadium on Sunday, May 8.

That’s because Huddersfield Town are at home on the Saturday, when they play Brentford in their final Championship fixture of the season.
