NATHAN BROWN is today keeping his fingers crossed that all three of his Giants will get the England Gillette Four Nations call.

Danny Brough, Leroy Cudjoe and Luke Robinson are all in the initial squad for this autumn’s tournament against Australia, New Zealand and Wales.

England coach Steve McNamara will announce his final 24-man squad at 10.30am today, with his final choice having been delayed until he had assessed the fitness of the players involved in Saturday’s Super League Grand Final between Leeds and St Helens.

But Brown would be disappointed if the Huddersfield trio were left out.

“We obviously hope they’ll be picked,” said Brown.

“All three are in the England squad for the right reasons, and if I was picking the team they’d all make the final 24.

“But that choice is down to Steve McNamara, not me.

“I am hopeful they’ll all be there, though. They’re all top-quality players, who clearly have the ability to make a big impact for England.

“To see them out there against Australia at Wembley early next month would be a proud moment – I would be delighted.”
