Huddersfield Giants travel to Warrington tonight seeking to end an 11-match Super League sequence without a win against the Wolves.

However, Giants head coach Paul Anderson is happy to leave the past behind him as he prepares his team for the clash at the Halliwell Jones Stadium (8pm).

“People will make what they will of past encounters, but this is another game and another big challenge against a side who have proved themselves in the past and have started this season well,” said Anderson.

“Warrington will always play attacking rugby and they have also been strong in defence, but then we match that up and we have been defending well ourselves.

“From our own point of view we have be known for starting well and then fading, so we want to deal with that and ensure that we finish games well.

“We haven’t made the greatest start to the season, but now we have won three straight games and picked up our momentum.

“We have got ourselves started and we will be looking for some wins and some points now.

“We are still perhaps not as fluent as we would want to be, but we are addressing the reasons for that, but we are already back up with the best in the competition.”
